Sucks that they're on the road for 3 of the last 4, and the one at home is the current #3 team in the nation.

Nice to see them overcome their terrible coaching to move to 3-2 in the B1G.

I thought there was an NLI thread, but be that as it may. Hopefully this will pay recruiting dividends, because right now the Gophers are near the bottom in the B1G for NLI at least compared with teams in their tier:
Pretty sure the CEO of Nepsis is an alum and huge Gophers sports fan. And you'd think with schools like Carlson, William Mitchell and the Med School pumping out a lot of big earners there were be a lot more out there like him. Maybe as more and more Gophers reach the NFL than ever before that could also lead to some bigger donations.

Gopher fans turn the lights off already for the year? PJ leading the boys on to the field in Illinois!
Perfect fall day for gopher football and the voice of Ray Christenson calling the game on WCCO radio!

I was optimistic in 2019, but I'm not feeling it right now and hope I'm wrong. The winning streak went a long ways toward erasing the stink of the UNC and IA games, but if they go 3-and-out and end up with a Dec 25th bowl game it will not leave a great feeling. Hoping they can improve upon their last recruiting class as I think this roster has potential to return some talent next season barring a portal disaster.

You would think so, but the U as recently as August 2023 was near the bottom in the B1G for booster donations:

Hopefully the above report will lead to closing the gap.

Defensive battle thus far against Wisconsin. Fleck dink and dunk offense has gone three and out on both possessions.
