A rather remarkable stat that unearthed last night: UND has now won its final home game of the season for 25 straight years.

Huskies set the NCHC points record with their win last night. This team is very resilient when spotting the opponent a lead. I have more hope for the postseason than ever before. That being said, it still isn’t much as there have been so many letdowns over the years. This team should win it all.

Re: College hockey
you can blame the weather, you can blame the HS Tourney. And while they have had home games before during the HS Tourney in the days of the wcha, they normally were on the road.
With all that said, what you see going on at the U OF M is a giant FUCK YOU to the university. And they are not responding in any way shape or form. How did they not come up with some sort of plan? Invite youth teams to the game that are not playing, students for free, SOMETHING. You wonder how it is being handled in recruiting. Come play in the historic John, half empty.
I think it is more then the big ten, more then the ticket prices. I think it comes down to a bunch of stuff including the big ten and $$ but I think the biggest factor is people are sick of how the U of M is run.

Re: College hockey
Once again UND outplays their opponent only to lose 2-0 to DU. The lack of any kind of finishers on this team is amazing. There isn’t one. Now they need to beat DU 2 in a row to advance to the X and I highly doubt that happens. Hopefully there is a finisher or 2 coming in next year or it will be a repeat of this season.

I just hope a great regular season translates into a deep run in the tourney this time..We all know how the story goes with Husky hockey...Maybe the new coach can finally get this team to the promised land for the first time..Sellingguy wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2019 7:10 amsolid team. Hope so! This team seems different. Not sure if it’s the coach, or the guys that could’ve gone pro but didn’t.bombers3shooter wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2019 12:43 pm Let's get a Husky Hockey talk forum on here! Walked through the toughest conference in the NCAA! Road to the Natty!

Pulling for Mankato to win it all. Only reason is I coached a kid on the team back in the day when he was on the same AAA summer team as my daughter. Spooner is his name and he just happens to be from Bismarck too. If not them then it's the Huskies. What a season they have had. It would be something if they did happen to win it a year after Motzko left, much like when UND won it the year after Hakstol left.

Re: College hockey
st cloud played well in a game that is just for the trophy. CC seemed to play well and the goalie kept it close for a while.
Duluth/Denver both seemed tight.
gopher girls won
Gophers men are in the woods off the first tee
Sioux in the fairway.

UMD takes out St. Cloud for the conference title. If the Huskies don't get taken out right away (like usual), it will be interesting to see what happens if these teams meet again as I think they are the two best teams in the land. Only real difference is one has Ship pedigree and one doesn't.

Re: College hockey
mankato not number 1 over all . i thought they might flip the top 3 around.
I have Mankato winning their first championship over MASS.
No other reason then you never know and I would bet few people pick that match up.
all 3 minnesota teams are in my final 4. St cloud loses semi in a heartbreaker to earn their first frozen four participation banner.

Fucking shameful. How the hell does that happen twice? They didn't teach me anything and they're now the unquestioned kings of NCAA tourney choke jobs.
I made this!

I didn't even remember to bet on the hockey tourny but unforturenty, BetOnline doesn't have that option.Miley Cyrus wrote: ↑Fri Mar 29, 2019 9:12 pmWish I had bigger balls.Miley Cyrus wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2019 6:20 pmBet accordingly.Ron Burgundy 4 President wrote: ↑Sat Mar 23, 2019 11:22 pm UMD takes out St. Cloud for the conference title. Shit, even $10 would have gotten you $72.50. Obviously $100 would have gotten +725.
If there's a dog like that in hockey, always throw down a couple bucks. With puck luck or a goalie standing on his head, anything can happen.
That's why you don't see those kinds of odds in hockey often
