I might remind them that using all your energy in one game might be an indication that your roster is super thin.
and that's why I have hope in our squad come post season.

Good old Luka. Gets up 5 shots in 4:47. TSJ, Dill and Minott got up a total of 3. hate to say it, but I think we're seeing the swan song of the boy from Iowa.

Remember last year when they were struggling and Jokic kind of had a Come To Jesus team meeting at the break - sort of a "now we get serious" thing? They went on to go 21-6 after the All-Star break. Just feels like they're not quite that team anymore.
is that correct? i know they've got something like a 26-10 record going into this one. anyways, here's a stat.

And Randle brings the muscle this team would otherwise be seriously lacking.
he was a scorer tonight.
i like when they run this offense thru Julius. scoring or passing, it's been a well oiled offensive machine. second best offense in the league on this six game winning streak.

finch presser. he wasn't expecting Joker to start the fourth quarter so that's why he had Julius out there. it worked anyways.

I blame that dumb jazz loss by 1pt, could have been a 7 game winning streak.

I feel we can take on anyone come playoffs time. Going to be interesting to see which sides can actually play playoff ball rather than regular season style.

Jokic especially. He's never been a great defender, but tonight he looks completely disinterested. I mean, he has only 5 defensive rebounds in 38 minutes. He averages double that. I'm not taking anything away from Rudy and Naz and Randle, but I don't think we got the Joker's A game tonight.
By not doubling him, you force him to spend all his energy on scoring.

Minnesota is likely proving itself to be the team you don’t want to face in the first round. The Wolves still have to get there; they’re jockeying with Golden State, another surging squad, for the No. 6 seed to avoid the play-in tournament.

But assuming the Wolves do reach the playoffs, they could be staring down a potential first-round series with Denver. At this point, that would have to be a matchup Minnesota would welcome, and Denver would dread.

The Lakers have some tough games coming up. If the Wolves handle their business Friday and Sunday, they’re gonna be in really good shape.

wolves six games back in the loss column. not sure if that's a realistic catch. kings/warriors tonight. let's go sacramento!

Yeah, it’s tough when you don’t have any

Nice thing about having a deep squad is that if one guys not producing that night, another one will. Naz not getting 8pts next game, and NAW will definitely not have 3pts.

that's certainly another factor come playoff time. wolves have to get in first. can't put the cart before the horse. here's a good stat though. pretty certain that OKC would be number one.

Finch has him figured out as well as anyone in the league.

If you double him he becomes twice as dangerous because he passes so much that you start guarding the pass and then he can sometimes generate even easier looks for himself than the ones he’s setting up for his teammates.

That was a highly enjoyable thorough thrashing of the Nuggies.

They look defeated like they cant hope to ever beat this matchup. Dominated.

Dillingham didn't do himself any favors last night with 2 sloppy turnovers in 5 minutes.
