Do the rules of investing change when a strongman is in power?

Post by Voltron »

I think it obviously does. It becomes much easier I think. Invest in things the strongman likes and stay away from things that might feel the strongman's wrath.

I'm choosing crypto, oil & gas, DJT meme stock, and Tesla.

My prediction is Donald will shut down all social media sites except truth social and will force people to use truth social to vote in the next election. This will make the price of DJT go insane.

I wonder what will happen to business and investments when SCOTUS repeals the 22nd amendment and Big Daddy Donald subsequently announces his intention to run again in 2028 for a third term at age 82?

It will be intriguing to see how that future scenario affects the business community and the decisions that are made regarding investments

I know Germany had a massive "brain drain" at one point. Something similar maybe
