Putting properties into LLC

I live in California. Between my two partners we have 4 properties we rent and one we all own together which will have two properties that will turn into two air bnbs when we upgrade in 5-8 years. How important and hard is it for us to make a LLC for each rental. My brother is in Denver he hired a lawyer to do that for his 5 properties but said it wasn’t worth the cost.
Do something!!

Milhouse might know about this. He just sold a house for $4 million down in Florida. He could get you the best price.
