I get a little nervous when these types of things don't move too quickly.

Demir visited Kansas State prior to committing.

But you're right, it's been awfully quiet...

Hard to believe we haven't heard anything about Woolridge recently.

I like how Arkansas is in on all these guys too. Think they just had Blacksheer visit, Woolridge had previously.

Sounds like they are over the scholarship limit too.

Yeah sorry, that's what I meant to mention and then got distracted by work briefly.

Kind of crazy it's middle of June and teams still have open scholarships.

This kind of came out of nowhere. Did he visit here? Makes sense why we're going after a SF grad transfer. Woolridge must have said no thanks

I assume the focus is now on finding a grad transfer SF that can shoot and potentially start?

Would have rather banked the scholarship for next year than waste it on a marginal player

They needed another guy who could handle the ball. Zero question on that. And they had two open scholarships, yikes.

RJ says the Gophers were out of official visits so they had to basically recruit this guy over the phone.

Hard to say what happened with Woolridge, the rumors were out there before he wanted to stay in Texas or near there but obviously Minnesota felt good enough on him that they brought him on their last official visit.

We're not done now are we? Still one open scholarship and could use a grad transfer that can shoot (Scanlon).

My guess is the door is open for any grad transfer who wants to commit. Maybe Woolridge is still an option? Every year someone has transferred for the last 20-25 years so my guess is they still think they'll have 4 scholarships available next year.

If we're out of visits does that mean grad transfers can't visit or is that just for high school kids?

No official visits. Unofficials where the players pays to get there and does the tour himself etc... I'm sure the coaches can talk to them and meet with them if they're on campus.

Yes. Their starting backcourt will likely be Ryan Woolridge and Admon Gilder.
