In a somewhat surprising move, the Vikings waived defensive tackle Hercules Mata’afa on Tuesday afternoon.
This was done so the Vikings could officially sign defensive end Jordan Brailford to the active roster and defensive end Eddie Yarbrough to the practice squad.
