I think Maye is their guy but this wouldn’t surprise me. I think they like Penix too if picking at #11.

I don't see them getting either but I would want Daniels over Maye but will take Maye before JJ. I am not getting my hopes up for the draft because I am used to getting disappointed by this organization for over fifty yearsSergeant Rubetube wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2024 9:07 pmI think Maye is their guy but this wouldn’t surprise me. I guess that is a reason. Do you think that KOC adjusted the playbook for Dobbs to best utilize his mobility?

Re: J. Daniels
Interesting that this drama is hitting right now. Talks on the socials about Daniels not liking the big quarterback sit down. He must have felt snubbed or said something bad with the group there.
His agent wasn’t letting him meet with Vikings and now is?
Weekend before the draft and he meets with the Vikings?
Is Washington going to take Maye now that the hype has built?
Can this get any more dramatic?

It’s not really that dramatic for us in that scenario. The Pats will take Daniels at #3 if WASH goes Maye.cunningham wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2024 10:05 pm Interesting that this drama is hitting right now. I think too much is made of these rumors. One thing I believe history demonstrates on these types of rumors is it is actually obvious when they are true.cunningham wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2024 10:05 pm Interesting that this drama is hitting right now. John Elway and Eli Manning are two high draft picks that everyone in the whole world knew without a doubt did not want to play for the team at the top of their respective drafts. Those teams, the Colts and Chargers, engineered trades to move the players to teams they were willing to play for. One interesting detail about it is both trades did occur subsequent to the pick: meaning technically teh Colts picked Elway and the Chargers Manning.
Another perhaps interesting detail. Both of the players were traded for the 4th overall pick of their respective drafts. IN Elway's case it was Chris Hinton and Manning's Philip Rivers.
And for those who are thinking trading "three" first round picks, the trades for 1st overall for 4th included future first round picks.

Agree cousin. Top three pick? Who is that? Drafting a qb? Is this the same in the top three? We don't have a top three

So, if he doesn't do you think NE takes Daniels at 3 and doesn't trade with MN?

Vikings will end up with #3 if Daniels is drafted #2. BOOK IT.
My sources are “Air Tight” on this one.

Daniel’s agent has liked some tweets that were bashing Washington as of late. Apparently, the commanders had their dinner with him in a group setting with other QB prospects and he didn’t like it. He didn’t feel special. He felt disrespected.Sergeant Rubetube wrote: ↑Sat Apr 20, 2024 2:50 amYes, but he’s going #2.Butch Bradford wrote: ↑Sat Apr 20, 2024 2:18 amSo, if he doesn't do you think NE takes Daniels at 3 and doesn't trade with MN?

So the Vikings don't really have a trade yet and if this is the case, they will probably stay at 11th right? Well I hope so because I don't see another QB trading two picks to move up after the first threeSergeant Rubetube wrote: ↑Sat Apr 20, 2024 2:50 amYes, but he’s going #2.Butch Bradford wrote: ↑Sat Apr 20, 2024 2:18 amSo, if he doesn't do you think NE takes Daniels at 3 and doesn't trade with MN?

Bill Belichick says don’t pay attention to anything you hear until 12 hours before the draft. All this stuff means nothing. Hang tight Froobs! We only have a few days to go before we see what our spreadsheet GM puts together.

I think that the same reason Daniels doesnt go #2 would be the same reason NE wont draft him.... whether it be he is rejecting a crap team situation or they have some issue with his body type. I think MN has a good chance to get either Maye or Daniels in trade for #3.Sergeant Rubetube wrote: ↑Sat Apr 20, 2024 2:50 amYes, but he’s going #2.Butch Bradford wrote: ↑Sat Apr 20, 2024 2:18 amSo, if he doesn't do you think NE takes Daniels at 3 and doesn't trade with MN?

Of course, I also think NE would be thrilled with a much more polished and ready Daniels vs Maye. But it takes two to tango. He could easily fail there.
