the starters were bad in the first quarter. i don't know if i want to take nickeil out of that second unit rotation. btw, dane was talking up jaden's defense against the suns and lakers.

Agreed.... To a point. If you put all the stars on the bench in as starters, you don't have anyone coming off the bench to create a spark.

But maybe Jaden coming off the bench against other bench players is what he needs. Slightly less competition to get him going.

His offense has always been hit or miss. I feel when when wants to get buckets, it shows. Many time he's just moving the ball around though on offense. As far as defense, he's been pretty good IMO without fouling out.
