keystone cops. lucky they got the out. rocco definitely should've let lopez face another batter.

when johnny longhair throws as erratic as he did the fielders tend to get back on their heels. it might've cost them a run.

bases loaded for buck. julien took another third strike--but then AK got plunked to fill the bases.

Saw the option for the grand slam and was only thinking about that. Seemingly.

No pinch hitter for Kepler in the 7th??? Bases loaded.

Rocco loves pinch hitting.

Buxton can’t not get at least one across there. What a terrible at bat.

Can the Twins be the worst team in the league with RISP?

Another shit display by the offense and they kick 42K in the nuts. Pathetic bloop hit by career minor leaguer Freeman that was probably the difference in the contest. And of course the one run they scored besides the Julian HR came on a fucking Wild pitch otherwise they would have been basically skunked. Cleveland can eat a fucking dick.

I see Michael Taylor for Pittsburgh has six runs scored in six RBIs but we didn’t need him

It’s early, but they have to be among the worst thus far?

I don't recall seeing them. However, last year we sat pretty close to the field most games, might not have seen them.

very disappointing home opener. lopez looked like he was gonna pitch a shutout the first three innings and then the bugaboo of a crooked inning from last year showed up again today. by that time he could've been up a couple of runs but buxton and kepler failed in the first. that was the start of the lack of clutch hitting.

kepler's ABs this year have been horseshit. get him out of the clean up spot until he gets his average above .150 at the minimum.

rocco brought in johnny longhair instead of letting pablo try to get the third out. another fail by the manager.

it's only six games into the season--but red flags are flying high already with this team.

the most important part of this game was in the first two innings.

@DanHayesMLB
Tanner Bibee is making some big pitches. Strikes out Edouard Julien looking on a 3-2 with the bags loaded to end the second inning after recording two outs w/ a man on third in the first.

if julien walks in the first instead of striking out on a 3-2 pitch he scores on the AK triple. three strikeouts looking and a HR from him today.

Fifteen strikeouts today. 0-12 with risp. Not going to win many games with these numbers.

What a disaster....having this off day where it's 60 degrees, sunny, and no wind and it's an off day...Sunday will be rainy and chilly.

yep. this off day shit doesn't make sense. there's some kind of explanation for it in the thread on the front page--but i'm not buying it. also can't the twins brass read a weather report/forecast? i read where it was cold in the shade yesterday. today the golf courses were doing big business it was so nice out there.

just more fail from the organization. rocco's still a mediocre manager too.

I get it that opening day is a big thing and you want a backup day if it's rained out, but the home team should have the ability to juggle the schedule a bit in situations like this. It would have been a spectacular day for baseball today.
