What a disaster....having this off day where it's 60 degrees, sunny, and no wind and it's an off day...Sunday will be rainy and chilly.
yep. this off day shit doesn't make sense. there's some kind of explanation for it in the thread on the front page--but i'm not buying it. also can't the twins brass read a weather report/forecast? i read where it was cold in the shade yesterday. today the golf courses were doing big business it was so nice out there.
just more fail from the organization. rocco's still a mediocre manager too.
I get it that opening day is a big thing and you want a backup day if it's rained out, but the home team should have the ability to juggle the schedule a bit in situations like this. It would have been a spectacular day for baseball today.
oh well. "what are things that will never happen in major league baseball, alex?"
still doesn't address the problem of a bad manager either.

You'd rather have Frank Quilici??

it looks to be a nasty day tomorrow weather-wise. should've played yesterday. anyways, rocco has finally moved kepler out of the cleanup spot. he should be batting behind santana too though. probably should be batting 9th right now. that might get him going.

We talked about the weather yesterday Weimy. Not sure about you, but I'm going to be saying a big, loud UGH if Kep resorts to his Bad Kep at bats again like much of the last few years.

Cleveland just shut Bieber down for the year. TJ surgery. He's probably thrown his last pitch for the Guardians, since he's a FA next year. And that tightens the starting pitcher market at the deadline.

he had a great second half of the season last year--the expectations should be more of the same this year. maybe he snaps out of it today.

That's what I'm hoping for...he was really good that stretch of last season and that's why I was glad he wasn't traded. In my mind he should be a 25hr, 80-90rbi guy who hit's at least .250 or higher.
