If that game were on Sunday-Thursday national tv would be putting the league on notice. Not glad it wasn’t but that was a win for the fanbase with the bullshit going on. That 1st half was about as dominant as I have ever seen. Beautiful basketball.

D lo has actually been great for them for big stretches, but my god mike is literally perfect for this team. Dlo for us thrived with getting his own shot late, we have ant for that. and mike just does everything else so damn good. Great D, doesn’t turn it over, clutch snipes, knows how to feed Rudy probably better than anyone in the world. feels like he could contribute til he’s 50.

Nice to see this team have grit and rebound nicely even though they lost KAT. Would have been very easy for them to plummet but they are now 10-3 on the year without KAT

Minnesota (51-22) is now even with Oklahoma City in the standings and owns the tiebreaker over the Thunder thanks to a better Northwest Division record. The same will be true with Denver (51-23) — who’s currently a half-game back of both teams — even if the Nuggets win the final regular-season meeting between the two teams on April 10.

So Minnesota owns both head-to-head tiebreakers and only could potentially lose out on the top spot in a three-way tie situation. That’s why Friday’s tilt was so massive. And the Timberwolves delivered a resounding message for all around the league to hear: The West may very well run through Minnesota.

The Wolves have won seven of their last eight games, with six of the seven victories coming via double digits, including impressive triumphs over the Clippers, Cavaliers and now the Nuggets.

It's one thing to hold the Pistons to <100 Pts <40% FG & < 30% 3PT -- which they did Wed night.

It's another thing to do it to vs. the defending champs -- which MIN has now done TWICE this season.

It's 10th time overall they've done it, no other team has done it more than 7x.
