Until you have a farm system like Tampa Bay can churn out year after year.. which includes starting pitchers, something the Twins don't really seem to do well developing... Joe Pohlad is correct but has zero evidence to back this up for the Twins and the Falvine era.

They should sign one of the available starting pitchers immediately and call it an offseason.

If the Pohlads are pissed with attendance being low over the last few years with a higher payroll than what they were comfortable with, imagine how it will probably be when they trot out a watered down low payroll roster?!?

In that scenario, the team would be a losing team and attendance would be much WORSE than what they’ve experienced in the last few years.

Who wants to spend time, money, and make the effort to watch a shitty team knowing ownership is trying to be cheaper and has said as much?

They’d still have the family oriented, take-your-family-out-to-the-ballpark fans who will eat up anything the team hands out to them.

But I sense that much of the fan base has become wise to what the Pohlads have been doing and have become much more vocal about it.
