Would like to see the Lakers win in a hard fought 7 game series.
definitely like to see it go seven--but not so sure if i'd like to see the wolves play the lakers or the nuggets if they take care of the suns. of course if it is the lakers the wolves have home court.
The Wolves have the depth to remain strong for a long playoff run. I think it’s obvious that the Lakers would be the easier matchup.

I also think coaching is huge in the post season. Finch and his crew have the clear advantage over Ham and his crew.
maybe so after the wear and tear of a series. but a healthy AD/lebron combination worries me--and if they dispatch of the nuggets that would mean they were better--so logic would point to the easier team would be the one that lost the series.

i think the wolves would matchup very well with the nuggets with a full squad.

D lo 1/9 from 3 as nuggets easily beat lakers after it being a good game for 2.5 quarters.
Den still has no bench but lakers are not a threat if nobody besides lebron and AD can do anything for lakers.

Fun day of games though all 4 home teams won, and all were no doubters except Knicks.

What worries me about the Lakers is the NBA and the refs. Lakers had a 19-6 FT advantage tonight over the defending champs and reigning MVP. Denver got zero trips to the line in the second half.

It's absolutely infuriating seeing this game after game. Like I said before, how do you even lose a game when you consistently have 10+ more free throws than the other team. What's crazier is, even with the disparity, the Lakers manage to lose by double digits

Looks like my $10 I threw at a Wolves beating the Heat for the NBA championship at +20,000, in November, might be dead. 😅😅😅

Lakers aren’t getting past Denver.

Denver vs Wolves in round two is going to be insane.

My wish is that playoff reffing brings SGA back down to earth. I hate how the refs have gotten me to dislike him.

This is absolutely true for me as well. My son just asked my who I was cheering for and I told him if it wasn't for SGA it would be the Thunder.

So, go Pels!

CJ is the Western Conference’s Chris Middleton. Dude flies below every radar.

If OKC wins tonight, the story SHOULD be…every team that was more physical, won. Every team that relied on regular season reffing and finesse, lost.

That possession around a minute left when the Pels got like 3 offensive rebounds was so today's NBA. Instead of eating clock and attacking the Thunder they decide to jack a bunch of threes. Of course, they came away empty handed.

Then, you just knew the SGA foul was coming with the game on the line.

3 disappointments today, and I'm not sure which one is the biggest.

Ingram has a huge opportunity this playoffs to take a massive step in the NBA world, big disappointment today.

A good and healthy Pacers team gets blown out with a Giannisless Bucks team. Haliburton has the same kind of opportunity that Ingram has for the Pelicans, and he looked scared to shoot today.

and then Dallas also getting blown out with their opponent missing a superstar.

This. And it's too bad because he's a very good player. But his advantage goes both ways - touch him, it's a foul. But he's allowed to blatantly push off on nearly every drive without a whistle. Frustrating.

I still think Ingram isn't fully healthy. Came back right in time for the playoffs after sitting for 12 games. He had a nice game (24/6/6) in the Kings blowout - but in his other three games back, he's really struggled - averages of 12/5/2. My guess is that it's got something to do with his health. Look at Karl in his three games back since his injury - averages of 13/6/2. I think it just takes awhile to get back to full game strength.

It f'n ridiculous that the NBA continues to let this happen, or actively pushes for it.

The stats on this game are nuts.

Free Throws were 19-6 for the Lakers even though:

Total shots were 102-79 in favor of the Nuggets
Points in the paint were 64-54 for the Nuggets (these type of shots often lead to foul calls)
Offensive Rebounds were 15-6 for the Nuggets and 49-40 overall (fouls often called on rebounds)
Fast Break points were 21-14 in favor of the Nuggets\
Steals were 7-3 in favor of the Nuggets

How can a team win every category that typically leads to fouls but only shoot 6 total free throws? This is why people think the NBA is rigged.

Solid add. I think at this point the evidence is beyond debate as far as the Lakers/LeBron is concerned...

Every single one of Denver's uniforms is awful.

They should go back to the Kiki VanDeWhege era rainbow uniforms.

Refs doing their best to keep LA in this series.

I find myself in a weird spot. Absolutely disgusted by their treatment with Lebron but also hoping the Lakers & refs make it a hard fought series.
