LOL...Rutgers goes on an 11-0 run and pulls within 6. Only in Dinkytown...

Good grief...for the umpteenth time this season a Gopher commits a ridiculously unnecessary foul towards the end of the game with a sizeable lead. Does coach Ben not get through to these boys in situations like this?

Maybe it won't matter, but starting to look like they're going really regret blowing those 2 20-point leads.

I just don't follow this like I used to but wouldn't they get in with 4 more wins? That would be 20 wins and 2 games over 500 in conf and likely top 6 in conf as well.

That would normally move them off the bubble. But the Big Ten isn't real good this year, so that's going to affect things. And their non-con schedule is so very, very bad. If they can figure out a way to beat Illinois, that would give them a better chance.

For those that didn’t watch yesterday’s game, Pharrell Payne had a big game. He’s going to be a nice player for the gophers over the next two years.

Maybe this doesn't mean much (not for the Gophers but for the BT in general) but only the Big 12 has more teams in the Top 20 for BPI: https://www.espn.ph/mens-college-basket ... /_/group/8

So I'm not so sure the conference would keep them out had they won the two aforementioned games. But feek follows this far more so he might be completely right that even with those it would be a long shot.

Lunardi's latest bracket has 6 teams in, all teams in front of Minnesota in the big ten standings... so they gotta close it out here strong or they will be left out. They're not listed as first four or next four out. Feek is definitely right on the big ten being down.. michigan and ohio st being terrible has hurt everyone..

I should clarify that I agree the Big is down 100%. But had they won those 2 games I think they're OOC schedule would be more detrimental than the B1G. Just a guess though.

Beating Iowa on the road and Wisconsin at home would have been preferred versus those other two non conference games.

The games I'm talking about them blowing are Mizzou (who is currently 0-12 in the SEC), so that looks like a bad loss on the resume, and blowing that lead at Iowa. Those were in the bag and they gave them away. It's more just taking a sure win off the ledger than anything else. There's so many teams on the bubble, every little bit helps, especially when you don't really have a signature win.

Have to win at least one, maybe two of those three upcoming road games. Won't be easy but that's what you gotta do.

It’s going to take 11 conference wins or 9/10 with a couple wins in the B10 Tourney.

Early 10 point lead. Gophers wearing te 70s throwback unis again.
They keep playing well in these, we might be done with stupid white uniforms at home.

Buckeyes not giving up and of course our Rodents oblige their effort. Nothing is easy for a Ben Johnson led club, is it?!

If all the players with eligibility come back next year this could be a pretty damn good team....gotta really hope Garcia comes back.

It's ovah....Goldy beats a pretty bad Ohio State team. Hawkins, Garcia, and Payne with big nights but pretty disappointing watching us struggling down the stretch to close things out.

Fucking forgot they played and missed it. Damn Johnson has this team playing good basketball. Think it's really time to be impressed with what he's done given the circumstances of the last year.

They had to have that game. Have to believe three more wins before the tournament gets them in for sure wouldn't it?

Fun season.

Only 7 guys played last night. Granted, a lot of that is because they stayed out of foul trouble, but still.
They need Ola-Joseph to do more than just dunk. And Ihnen is not good. I'm not sure what people ever saw in him.

Do we know why he left Dinkytown? Did he really think Ohio State was going to be a better team?
