And here we go Bob! Puck drops in less than an hour and anotha season of Minnesota Wild hockey will be underway! Have to say my expectations are quite modest and I just don't see how the current squad can improve upon their meh of a year last season. For any kind of improvement they'll need BIG years from Kirill, Joel, and Matt plus a breakout year from Rossi, solid netminding from Gus, staying healthy (already without Spurg so that's off to a bad start), and a few other things. Hoping the boys will be competitive and show a bit of an edge to their play. Will be fun watching what Maroon might bring to the club and I really hope Addy comes in with a chip on his shoulder and has a big year!

Hopefully we'll have at least 3-4 puck diehards in here each game.....hoping JimmyT will make some appearances as well as Leon and maybe a surprise or two!!

With being at home and all that green carpet hoopla earlier in the day it's not surprising that the Wild looked sluggish that period....hopefully they got their legs under them now and periods 2 & 3 will be better.
