If I were ownership, I would ban management from making any trades and fire them all in the off-season

@DanHayesMLB
Rocco Baldelli described the #MNTwins offense as "hit or miss." Carlos Correa shouldered the blame for a 40-41 first half, which ended with a 6-2 loss to Atlanta. Twins are 5-25 when they score two or fewer runs.

Falvine has missed on so many trades during their tenure here. You got to think they'll be very gun shy this time around with their jobs on the line.

It's been 32 years since one of MN's four major sports teams has been to the Championship/Superbowl.
Every single year is failure until we win one. 4 teams, 32 years. That's roughly 128 consecutive failed seasons.

it's getting close to shake this roster up time. bring some players up from st paul and see what they can do. they can't do any worse than what they're getting from the ABs with risp this series.

Re: halfway point of the season after tonight
We play in the worst division in the league and are not in first place by double digits that means the team grade is:
F
F

Re: halfway point of the season after tonight
Completely disappointing given how well the starting pitching has been. Every other facet of the game has been bad.
What makes it even more worse is how bad the Central is. There is no excuse and Rocco needs to go.

Welp... at least we dont have to listen to the pathetic apologist take "why are you complaining about a first place team?"

Re: halfway point of the season after tonight
This division sucks so bad. I will say.....it is not as bad as the 1994 AL West. Fortunately for that division, the strike shortened the season as the Rangers led the division at 52-62

Gap from the Twins to the #2 strikeout team is bigger than the gap between the #2 and #14 teams.

Hey, Matt Wallner hit another home run for the @StPaulSaints. Maybe the #MNTwins should call him up.
Guess what #MNTwins fans, Matt Wallner just homered again. Twice tonight. There's still time to have him take a flight to Baltimore right @StPaulSaints?

Why would he be brought up? Max Kepler and Joey Gallo are doing so well.weimy froob wrote: ↑Fri Jun 30, 2023 7:58 amTedweimy froob wrote: ↑Wed Jun 28, 2023 12:26 pm it's getting close to shake this roster up time. bring some players up from st paul and see what they can do. they can't do any worse than what they're getting from the ABs with risp this series.

Re: all-star break thoughts (if you see them, have them)
rant is the operative word.
Patrick Reusse says Twins need big changes soon, wonders if Rocco Baldelli will survive them
Star Tribune columnist Patrick Reusse joins host Michael Rand for what mostly became a rant about the Twins, who were swept going into the All-Star break and fell a game below .500. The starting pitching couldn't have been much better during the first 91 games, but the Twins were held to two runs or fewer in 40% of those games.
The result: A frustrating team. Reusse says the Twins need to make some major changes to either the lineup, the decision-makers or both before play resumes, and he asserts that manager Rocco Baldelli won't survive with his job if this play continues through the rest of the season.
Reusse and Rand also saved a little time for the Timberwolves and some recent comments by head coach Chris Finch.
