Bums me out that our boys can't be a part of this. Third game 7 in the last 2 days I've been watching and the action and excitement has been top notch. Been keeping an eye on on my favorite player of the last 10 years Patrick Kane and sad that as I watch him so far tonight he clearly isn't what he once was. Maybe he still has a little magic left and will help the Rangers advance....

Devils dominating play right now and a shorty gives them a 1-0 lead. Rangers looking old and slow....

And now 2-0…… that almost looks insurmountable for the Rangers tonight.

Unless Ratelle, Hadfield, and Gilbert suit up for the 3rd period I think their season is ovah...

Holy shit, that Trouba hit was an old school killer. Meier didn’t have his head up…… unusual to see no one go after Trouba.

Now it’s done, Haula just scored to make it 3-0 with five and a half to go. Devils have owned this entire game. Haula has had a good series for the Devils.

NHL playoffs: Traditional powers fall by the wayside in Round 1
After some giants were toppled in Round 1, whoever wins the Stanley Cup will be doing so for a fanbase that hasn't seen a title in a long time, if ever.

Imagine, if mid-Feb, when the Wild were on their tear, if you were told, don't worry, Boston would be out in the first round.....

1) you'd mockingly laugh at whomever told you that and
2) you'd sincerely think it was the Wild's year, that they were peaking at the right time, the bus stopped all traffic, And they were still set to get the superstar Kaprizov back.
My body, my choice.

Pavelski back in the lineup for Dallas, gives the Stars the early lead over the Krakken, about 2-1/2 minutes into their game.

Krakken tied it, then Pavelski scored again for the Stars to go back ahead, 2-1. What would his impact have been in the Wild/Stars series?

Krakken come storming back with two goals past Oettenger just eleven seconds apart! 5:00 left in the first.
This Seattle team certainly doesn’t roll over.

It's the Minnesota way come playoff time.

Ottinger turns into Patrick Roy.
Daniel Jones is prime Michael Vick.
Joe Blow 9:00era is Nolan Ryan.

Pavelski finished with all four Dallas goals in their 5-4 OT loss to Seattle. The Kraken just keep playing!

Pretty sure it’s just me and SG. Definitely pulling for Seattle. Funny their fanbase wanted Hakstol’s head back in December. Not anymore. Fun team to watch as they come at you in swarms. They’re playing with house money so really have nothing to lose. Pressure is all on Dallas

Sioux guy here, too. It would be fun to see Hakstol knock off Dallas.

This was the first time I’ve seen or paid attention to the start of a Vegas home game….. quite the production.

Edmonton with the PP goal 4 minutes into the game….. can’t take penalties against them……

Just as I was typing, Vegas answers back just about 40 seconds after the Oilers goal!

Same here Justin...curious if it's similar during the regular season or if this was something for the playoffs....either way it was pretty cool and got the crowd revved up. Electric start for both teams and we have a 1-1 score just 5 minutes in!

Sure no shortage of scoring in the playoffs, scoring looks easy for non Wild teams. Thought that would of changed with an elite scorer in Minnesota, but I guess not.
