Might be my imagination but my perception is that Gus needs good defense early and then he gets better as games progress. Score early on him and things go badly.

First period sucked. Came out strong but gave up momentum on the first Dallas shot and then nothing despite two PPs.

Earlier in the series, I believe game 4, Karil missed an open net shot, had Ottinger on the other side of the crease. My first thought was, he never misses that shot. Second thought was, thats a bad fucking omen.
