So, Kirill, Zucc, Dumba, Spurge, and Brodin all held out of the lineup tonight, just getting rest and not getting hurt. Wild just said fuck it, we’re in third, we’re gonna stay there and maybe stay healthy. Gives some other guys a chance to get some ice time.

Mostly a shitty game so far…. Rossi not showing anything, maybe he is an Iowa all star. (I know it’s early in his return, but so far not doing anything) I could say that about a lot of guys, but many have really been hoping for him to get back in.

This is awful. I get sitting starters to prevent injuries, but this team has proven time and again that they can’t just flip that switch once the postseason starts. It would be a grave mistake for them to enter the playoffs not playing their best when it could have been prevented.

I agree with your take above, I do believe Boldy needs to be playing….. Zucc is older, Kirill has just come back from a long time off, played a game to get rid of some rust, maybe not a bad time to give him one off, but he should play again before playoffs.

Foligno had a fight that he clearly wanted, he started it, and the game seemed to turn for the Wild. Not sure what set him off, but he was looking for it.

Yeah, it was hard to watch at times, but the Wild picked it up pretty well at the end and took a win that probably should have been a loss. The end was fun.
