Wolves Playoff Seeding Race Thread

Post by UnFadeable21 »

21 games to go.

Would be great to get the 4th seed which is 2 games ahead of us

Burnt 6th seed is my bet to finish the season.

Here’s tonight’s western conference action

Tonight:
Lakers won
Pelicans lost
Thunder lost
Grizzlies lost
Blazers lost
Jazz Won

Are you going to update this every day? Do you think we can stay ahead of the Thunder and Jazz?

Read some stat that the Wolves have something like the 5th hardest schedule remaining

Or we could miss the playoffs all together and watch Walker Kessler win playoff games at the buzzer.

The wolves got ran out the gym at home against the Hornets. Missing the playoffs looks like the most likely possibility.

So did the Heat.

Hornets with Ball and Hayward healthy are not a 17 win team.

This season is the prototypical keep your pants on season. There’s a shit ton of crazy going on, especially out west.

it's a wide open west with the probable exception of the number one seed. the problem is that the wolves haven't stepped up to fill one of those slots that keep them out of a playin game. it's there for the taking and they're not doing that. season defining road trip begins tonight.

It’s one thing after another for almost everyone out west.

It’s going to come down to the wire as to whether we get in or not.

vandy doing vandy things though. lots of rebounds, scored in double figures. steals. he was fun to watch and i bet the lakers fans are enjoying his play. i'm already putting the lakers in one of the playin games at least. so one less spot available for the timberpuppies.

i don't think the Lakers have a chance now - especially seeing as the guy they are most relying on now (AD) is as brittle as they come. i can see some little thing happening to him and they'd just completely shut it down for the year. who knows? it's also LA - and in true Hollywood style, i can almost see them overstating the extent of Bron's injury so that when he comes back and leads them to some important victories, it'll add more to the Superhero legacy.

Kat is gonna return just in time to fuck up whatever chemistry this team manages to muster up by the end of the year... Like I want him back, and the team needs his ability... I just hope he's taken this time to get his head right, not just his body.

Karl will be 28 this year. There is nothing that will change in that head.

Wolves can absolutely pass Clippers and Mavs and move up to 6th.

That would be HUGE.

Only one game back.

it's all in front of them--they just have to play good basketball and grab it.

To that point, last night was very encouraging.

Big Mac, Officer McDaniels, proved he can be a first option when needed. Guy is almost 7ft tall with the wings of a condor, pretty decent handles, and his shooting touch is 💦.

They badly needed someone to step up. I hope he can continue to show some offensive versatility. He definitely has tools to be more than a stand in the corner guy.
