Who is playing? They'd be playing 5 on 8 against the Lakers for sure. Is Zion going to be back? If so, he'll get 15 FTA's just for being on the floor.

So we have no chance? Nah.... we get to a 7 game series

I don’t think the Wolves have much of a chance in a 7 game series vs anyone this year. Too Jeckyl and Hyde. I’m not confident they get through to the full series. Losing record vs SA, HOU, POR. Not sure how you can have any confidence in them.

Lakers and Pels both one game up on us.

Lakers play Phoenix, which is a loss, and Utah, which is probably a win, but you never know.

Pels play Knicks and us.

We could pass both of these clubs and get a home playin game.

New York has nothing to play for, so who knows how that's going to go. But if we win out while they both go 1-1, then you're looking at the combined head-to-head between all of us.

We'd be 4-2, the Lakers would be 4-3 and the Pels 2-4. We'd barely squeak into the 7 spot.

Zion is considered “unlikely” to return for play-in tournament per Shams.

Yeah, I was hoping the would help us this week. The will probably rest them again against the Clippers.
We need to win out obviously, but we need help to move up anywhere. 7th would be ideal. (Home play-in)
Knicks over Pels
Kings over GS
Suns over LAL. (Hopefully the Lakers count their chickens and underestimate the scrubs who are fighting for a job.)
Saturday
Blaze over Clips
Memphis over OKC
Jazz over LAL
Suns over Clips
Portland over GS

Long shot, but 6th is reachable. (I think) Am I wrong?

Pelicans are hottest team in nba.

Knicks have nothing to play for maybe thibs can help out the wolves by playing his starters for no reason.

My guess is wolves beat SA, lose to NO, then have to go down to NO for the play in game.

At this stage, there are no givens. We dun goofed it with the Blazers loss. Mind you, we screwed up with many bottom feeder sides this year.

Pels / Knicks are pretty much knotted up at half. Pels look tired. Not shooting well.

if they lose to NO they'll probably be the 9th seed if they beat SA.

The last week+ has not gone well for wolves. 9th at 41-41 os inevitable. Losing the suns game and then collapsing against the lakers sealed their fate. No excuses besides poor play not to be 5th or better.

If lakers lose, Wolves still hold their own fate for the 7th seed to host a play in game if they win 2-0 this weekend.

Even in a scenario where we end up having nothing to play for in our last game of season, i still don't believe our squad deseveres a rest game (sit starters) before the play-in game. We aren't good enough to have that luxury. We need all the on court learning and experience yet that we can get at this point. That's my thinking at least.

Finch will not rest any players. They need as much play time together as possible at this point. The end is near slam the pedal. Only top seeds deserve to rest players this weekend. The lower seeds need to put the most work in.

This is what I want, bring on Memphis

Lakers win 121-107

Wolves if we win out would need to travel to LA to play for the play in

Dont want to play L.A. Easy loss. Lebron in playoffs will be much different than regular season. He will just attack rim as much as he desires.

the wolves have the tiebreaker. if the lakers lose their last game and the wolves win out the game would be here. i don't know all the tiebreakers, but the lakers could also possibly move higher than 7th depending on what happens with the clippers and/or GS. both the clippers and GS have a game against portland though--so that probably isn't going to happen.

you might as well consider sunday's game against the pelicans play-in game number one. if they lose that they're going to have to win two games to get into the playoffs. if they win then they'll only have to win one and will get two tries if necessary.
