Reid's behind Monk based on current betting odds. Monk's the clear favorite at -1000, Reid at +800. Then Powell at +2500, Portis at +3500, LeVert at +6600, and Bogdanovic at +15000.Jack Soo 5 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2024 11:05 amWhere's he stack up with the rest of the candidates. Re: Naz Reid
Naz has a lot of advanced statistical advantages to Monk that likely will go unrecognized as opposed to just raw stats. He generates more win shares, has a higher VORP, has a higher BPM, has a higher TS%. He's a much better defender than Monk is, but again that's not something that tends to win 6MOTY. His EFG% is like 60 points higher! But has a lower USG rate than Monk by 3.2%. So, Naz is less of a focus than Monk in their respective offenses when on the floor.
Naz is way, way more efficient than Monk.

Re: Naz Reid
I don't put that much stock in who wins what award - there's often a second and third choice who also could have won it, so they've been of equal value to their teams than the winner was to there's. Naz is no longer a secret - he's getting attention around the league through his play and the TWolves place in the standings. And, I'd rather have him on our team than Monk.
There is little difference between the memory of a real event and the memory of a dream.

Does Monk have his own beach towel? Is his name his nickname?

Easy is 6. Obviously. But he may be 4th based on production despite more limited minutes than some others.Moses Scurry wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2024 2:12 pm#6 overall.

Re: Naz Reid
I think you could have good debates around Naz, Herro, Barrett, Garland depending on need. Coby White even seems to be improving.Stork311 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2024 2:19 pmEasy is 6. Obviously. Hell, our boy Nickeil Alexander-Walker would be climbing that draft.

Going to be nuts if next years Wrestlemania does end up being in Minneapolis as rumored. If the Wolves have an off night, maybe Mr. Naz Reid makes an appearance. In Philly for this years Wrestlemania Jason Kelce and another Eagles players got in on the action.

Probably as simple as some die hard wolves fan representing. Naz Reid isn’t big enough of a name to participate in wrestlemania are you nuts?
