Four, if we can get Connelly to GM the other team.

Naz Reid is one of those kind of players that not a lot of people think was good if he were 4 foot 2

I think the Wolves have found the elusive 6th man. Naz has played himself into a nice next contract. It will be interesting to see how it plays out for him and how far the Wolves all willing to go.

I'm not sure what his realistic value is, but I have to think they'll keep him unless it's just an insane asking price that another team is willing to pay. Even though I like Prince a lot as a vet, by next year especially, I'll feel fine letting him go....as he's expiring, he can surely be moved to relieve a bit of space for Naz. On top of that, it's unlikely they pick up Walkers option at 7 unless it's to be part of a deal later, but by moving and not picking up both, you've got plenty of money to spend on Naz. And given that our bigs, whatever the future of KAT, does in fact get nicked up and needs higher level relief, Naz has proven he's a fine stop gap and more. With Ant and Jaden not really hitting the books super heavy for two more years, Naz will fit in contract wise. Mike, Ant, Jaden, KAT, Gobert, Naz, Slowmo, and Jmac with Minott and Moore getting a chance at Prince's timeslot. I assume we'll add one, if not two rooks, pick up Garza, and with whatever is left after Naz and the rooks, they might look to extend Nowell.

At 39 i still have never been to the state fair. The renaissance festival runs during the same time and i can't imagine the state fair being better. Heck, i will even take the Bayfield apple festival over it.

Would anyone trade Naz for a top 15 protected pick? Also under this scenario, we keep both Kat and Gobert into 2024/2025 season.

No, I wouldn't. What are the odds a late lotto pick actually replicates the talent level and production of Naz Reid? It's not very high. It's a pretty low chance actually. And even if they do, how many years is that going to take 3, 4 years?

Teams miss on prospects all the time in the NBA. One of the reasons it works better with star level players is you usually get multiple high picks and maybe a promising young player. Taking multiple bites at the apple can drive down the volatility of projecting very young players.

A 1 for 1 mid round pick doesn't do much in terms of value or replacing Naz Reid.

They are trading Naz or KAT if not by the deadline this season, then offseason next year.

I would not trade Naz right now.

I think he was signed because we forget unless this year the wolves go to the finals/really out perform, either Rudy or KAT have to go with the new cap rules. Naz is either a trade piece to keep them both, or a replacement for who is traded. Ants guys are Naz and Jaden so if keeping them keeps Ant happy, pay them more.

And who doesn’t love Naz.
