Not sure how his game fits the team needs, but his attitude and presence might be a nice fit. Need some toughness.

He'd be an okay add if he's got something left in the tank. Our playoff rotation would likely be less than this - but his addition would give us an 11 man selection of: Rudy, KAT, Naz, Kyle, Jaden, Marcus M, Ant, NAW, Mike, Monte M and JMac - which is pretty solid. Still don't know if there's anyone in this bunch with the muscle mass and quick enough feet to put a dent in Zion if we face the Pels in the playoffs though. Morris is tough - but he's a 6-8 218 SF - who's still giving up about 70 lbs to Williamson. Game of matchups.

im for it. hes still only 34 and was a full time starter with decent stats on good clipper teams the last few years. gives flexibility with SloMo and potentially a few less mins for KAT/Slomo/Jaden if needed. take a foul away from KAT, hit a 3 or 2, grab some boards and help stem a tide here and there when we have those big lulls in the 3rd/4th.

Solid Vet presence with playoff experience.
Also a 43% catch and shoot 3pt shooter, can always use more shooting.

I'm with you on this. Never did like the guy or his brother. Does he even have toughness anymore. At his age just seems like toughness = fouls.

He shoots at a decent clip from long range, has been in over 60 playoff games, is a known enforcer/hard fouler/dirty player.

Most fans didn't like Beverly coming to Minnesota, but he grew on us, I doubt Marcus Morris would get a big role here, but if it's the start of the 4th quarter with Ant on the bench and we are down I'm playing him over Anderson.

Beverly still tight with a lot of guys here I'd imagine. We definitely needed him the year he was here. Morris isn't exactly Pat Bev in terms of what he brings to or changing a culture around him. We need shooters though. No idea if Morris is the move. Better than doing nothing though.

Not a huge fan of either of the Morris twins. But i will say, Marcus could win me over with a short hard uppercut to Draymond's mouth.

I'll bet he's a bit north of 218 now. I'm sure he's closer to 235 than 218.

And I'm also sure he still gives about 70lbs to Zion, who's probably in the neighborhood of 3 bills.

Unless it changes our chemistry. They need to do the homework before pulling the trigger. 12 years and traded 10+ times is red flag for me.

I think one needs to have realistic expectations of what a team can get from a buyout player. I've seen the Wolves go after 1 trick pony 3 point shooters just to have them bring little to nothing meaningful to the table.

Morris can guard a couple different positions decently. He's an agitator, plays physical, and sometimes a bit dirty. He's a decent shooter from behind the arc. Basically a player that one can put in during a 7 game series when Luka is going off & McDaniels is forced to sit because of foul trouble. Throw Morris in there for a couple of minutes and have him attempt to get the player back down to earth through physical play.

I prefer him over Harris. I'd also be happy with Danilo if the Wolves don't land Morris.

I'm just going by what NBA.com says - and they supposedly update heights and weights to accurately reflect current measurements. However, I will say - they still list Jaden at 185. Has he honestly not gained any weight? AND they still list Naz in the 260s. Has he seriously not lost any weight? So, right - I'm dubious.

ACH, Bryn Forbes. Who guessed that guy was going to be such a maladjusted violent turd show? Arrested again for domestic violence - choking/attempted strangulation on an ex-significant other.

I am not sure if you are saying he is gay? But if he isn't these women need to start fighting back! If there is one thing I have learned from watching TV it is that women no matter how small can beat up any man. This guy needs to be shown who the boss is.

Marcus represents some fouls to burn when facing Zion at the very least. He also brings toughness that is sorely needed. This is what is missing from the wing spots and is currently the biggest need imo. Sort of a tough tweener that you can throw at some bad matchups. He also should be able to nail a 3 now and then.

Looks like the league might have a new bad boy to enroll in anger MGMT classes. Piston Isaiah Stewart slugged Drew Eubanks in the face before the game tonight. Isn't this his third out of control moment? Hard to forget the ridiculous rampage he went on a year or two ago when Bron bloodied him with an elbow - but I feel like there's a third incident too. At any rate, somebody needs to take a chill pill.
