That Cicarelli-Broten-McCarthy could be a thing of beauty at times. :(

Tommy Mac was definitely the weakest link of that line with Dino and Neal but was a decent player for a handful of years. A 20 something Gus Munger made a few appearances at "Just for the Halibut", the restaurant McCarthy was a part of back then!

Emergency Heart surgery. Gee, I wonder if the Vaccine, aka poison had anything to do with it? I see so many deaths in Minnesota from Heart related issues and blood clots.

Yeah. The Vaccine hasn't killed anyone.

Post all your left wing links and left wing media lies. IDC.

Point is, Too many deaths heart and blood clot related. I'm sure you know some that have died this way in the last 2 years. I know over over 20.

Tom McCarthy was a guy who was a "what could have been" story. Injuries really plagued him throughout his short career but the guy was wicked talented. I heard that there were some drug issues back then and later McCarthy served time in prison for being involved in a drug smuggling ring.

THey had a pretty good draft taking Hartsburg (another player who had a major injury that devastated his career) 6ht, McCarthy 10th, and Neal Broten in the 2nd round (unfortunately Ray Borque was selected 2 picks after Craig).

I loved the North Stars but never converted any level of interest above casual with the Wild.

I didn't say vaccines haven't killed anyone but your comment was stupidly speculative not only regarding vaccine death rates but also with respect to health in MN, and if you'd read the links the latter would have made sense.

But instead you shrieked, "OMG TEH LFT RRGGAAGGH!!!"

Dude had 333 points in 385 games while with the NS and it's not that difficult to be the 'weakest link' playing alongside two HOF players.

McCarthy's biggest hindrance sadly was himself. Here's a pretty good write-up on his life, albeit a bit brief. https://torontosun.com/sports/hockey/nh ... m-mccarthy

Not sure the purpose of your first sentence other than your usual "Munger said it, so I'll attack it" mode....

Good Lord I didn't attack you - I just don't think he was a weak link in the traditional sense of the description dude.
