Troyal Garth Brooks is an American country singer and songwriter. His inte-
gration of pop and rock elements into the country genre has earned him
his immense popularity, particularly in the United States with success on
the country music single and album charts, multi-platinum recordings and
record-breaking live performances, while also crossing over into the main-
stream pop arena. Brooks is the only artist in music history to have released
nine albums that were certified Diamond by the Recording Industry Associa-
tion of America (surpassing The Beatles' former record of six)...Brooks is one
of the world's best-selling music artists, having sold more than 170 million
records. Billboard ranked Brooks as the greatest male solo artist on the Bill-
board 200 chart of all time. As of 2020, according to the RIAA, he is the best-
selling solo albums artist in the United States with 156 million domestic units
sold, ahead of Elvis Presley, and is second only to the Beatles in total album
sales overall. Brooks was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame on

Your Face", "Killing Me Softly with His Song" and "Feel Like Makin' Love", and

with Donny Hathaway. Flack is the only solo artist to win the Grammy Award
for Record of the Year on two consecutive years: "The First Time Ever I Saw
Your Face" won at the 1973 Grammys as did "Killing Me Softly with His Song"
at the 1974 Grammys.

American songwriter and record producer, best known as a member of
Holland–Dozier–Holland, the songwriting and production team that was
responsible for much of the Motown sound and numerous hit records by
artists such as Martha and the Vandellas, The Supremes, The Four Tops,
and The Isley Brothers. Holland, along with Lamont Dozier, served as the
team's musical arranger and producer. He has written or co-written 145
hits in US and 78 in the UK.

Smokey Robinson
Born: February 19, 1940
William "Smokey" Robinson Jr. (born February 19, 1940) is an American R&B
and soul singer, songwriter, record producer, and former record executive.
He was the founder and frontman of the pioneering Motown vocal group the
Miracles, for which he was also chief songwriter and producer. He led the
group from its 1955 origins, when they were called The Five Chimes, until
1972, when he announced his retirement from the group to focus on his role
as Motown Records vice president. Robinson returned to the music industry
as a solo artist the following year. He left Motown in 1999. Robinson was in-
ducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987 and awarded the 2016
Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for his lifetime contributions to popular
music. He is a double Hollywood Walk of Fame Inductee, as a solo artist and
as a member of The Miracles. In 2022, he was inducted into the Black Music
& Entertainment Walk of Fame.

singer-songwriter Neil Young. Sampedro has played and

English musician who was the first permanent keyboardist
and co-producer of the rock band Dire Straits. In 2018, Clark
was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a significant
member of Dire Straits. In 1983 he played on Bob Dylan's album
Infidels and also on the following Empire Burlesque album. Clark
also worked with Knopfler on some of his film soundtrack work,
most notably on the film Local Hero, in which he also makes a
