If we make the playoffs the three at the top of the rotation will be the best playoff starting staff we've had since 91.

He's in the Royals system now. I remember flipping through channels a couple years ago and he was starting for the Iowa Cubs against the Saints.

Jax 3.18
Theilbar 2.25
Lopez 0.00
Duran 1.93

Moran 6.17
Pagan 9.00

I think Moran is starting to get back on track. This bullpen has been damn good so far. Hopefully they hang in there through summer.

Tyler Mahle will be shut down for at least four weeks after tests revealed a posterior impingement and flexor pronator strain in his pitching elbow.

The Twins got raped in the #4 starter, Tyler Mahle trade. I'm all for going for it, but not for Tyler Mahle.

They bought damaged goods and are kind of getting what they deserved there.

Paddock or Winder ready to roll yet?

Winder is up. He pitched the 9th yesterday. Came in when the score was 8-2. Gave up two runs, and left two men on base before he was pulled for Duran.

Damn. Guess we'll just have to sign Bauer to be the #4.

Spencer Steer is already in the majors and Encarnacion-Strand, who hit 32 homers in the minors last year is batting .444 at AAA to start this season.

Really? Better than Liriano's breakout year? Santana, Radke & Liriano was a nice combo.

That's the team I've been disappointed the most in the last 20 years.
Really thought they had something and just shit the bed in the playoffs.
It's been 32 years since one of MN's four major sports teams has been to the Championship/Superbowl.
Every single year is failure until we win one. 4 teams, 32 years. That's roughly 128 consecutive failed seasons.

Mahle is gone for two months. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Maeda end up on the 60-day IL too. He's not going anywhere.

At least Rocco and the spreadsheet warriors aren't pulling pitchers after 4 all the time this year.

Good things happen when you're not filling the rotation with Bundy, Archer, Smeltzer, Winder etc.

They already sent Louie down on Tuesday when they called up that Ortega guy. Ortega is headed back down to St. Paul when Maeda is officially activated.
