Well after calming down, I’m honestly not too upset about this outcome. I knew we wouldn’t beat Ohio st but I just wanted to at least be competitive and we were for the most part. Watching the big plays given up on defense sucked but Iowa and Wisconsin don’t have the kind of speed Ohio st does so I have faith we’ll tighten up. But the offense was disappointing, and frankly I was a bit surprised. The 2nd half play calling was reminiscent of a coaching staff trying to protect a true freshman qb who’s been thrown into the fire prematurely. Morgan is a 5th yr senior, for f’s sake let it rip! If this team is going to have any chance at a meaningful bowl game pj has got to put more on Morgan’s plate, especially if mo is going to be out for some time.

We have a favorable schedule running through November, we need to use this time to lick our wounds, open up the offense more, and tighten some screws defensively.
