Well, they're 1 period away from that happening! Cole Caufield has scored for Montreal...guess we didn't need him. :pissed:

historically the montreal franchise more often than not won't spit the bit out when they've got a chance to do something in the playoffs. happened again last night.

Defending champ Tampa Bay will get a shot at back to back titles.....meanwhile, our Minnesota Wild from the State of Hockey have yet to even make an appearance in over 20 years of its existence. Tampa Bay.

tampa bay tampa bay. most would say it's even a worse situation with our NFL franchise. bucs have two lombardi trophies while being in the league 16 years fewer than the purple.

The main difference Weimy is that the Bucs play in a state where football was HUGE even before they came into existence. Florida was not exactly a hot bed for hockey before the NHL hit town. The Wild play in the State of Hockey....

Just a little miffed that I have now sat through nearly 50 years of NHL hockey in my life and STILL no Stanley Cup winner. Same with the Vikes. At lease I'll have my 2 Twins WS titles to remember!!

i've never pulled for the canadiens in a stanley cup final before--so i'm not that invested in their run this year--but i wouldn't mind seeing them close out the deal either. this proud franchise hasn't been in a stanley cup final since 1993--but they're back!

Montreal absolutely erupts after Canadiens make Stanley Cup Final

Jacques Lemaire with 2. Bobby Smith and Neal Broten both have one 4 years after a SC loss with the North Stars. :anger:

TB gonna make the Cup a hard get for Montreal. Great first game. Blood, cheap shots, nasty stuff....that's the Cup.

Cole Canfield with 4 goals and 5 assists in the playoffs so far.

Remember we passed on him for the bigger Boldy in the 2019 draft.

Another example why Pauly Walnuts is a total moron. He said he loved Zuccarello who is all of 5' 8" then he passes on Caulfield who was one of the top players/scorers in the draft.

Imagine Cole Caulfield with Kap and Zucc on the same line. Wow!

I was on record as wanting Caulfield and was disappointed the Wild passed on him. In fairness to them we need to wait a few years and see how Boldy turns out and then we can fairly judge the situation.

Glad I was pulling for the team that didn't win the Cup. It made for a much more authentic experience for me :|
