Trey Potts announced he will be back next year. Not sure there's going to be a lot of carries available for him.

Well, my guess is that Mo or Trey will once again get a bummer of an injury.....can't have too many good backs!

Gophers landed Beanie Bishop from the transfer portal. He's a first team all conference cornerback from Western Kentucky.

Hoping Fleck can get a defensive line transfer or two. Gophers are losing a lot of bodies on the d-line.

He'll be on top of the depth chart when Spring ball starts. DE is pretty thin right now. They're getting Thomas Rush back, but he's had more success as a straight-up pass rushing specialist than a 3-down DE.
They're chasing an FCS lineman real hard, but that kid has about 30 offers already. Need to find a DT or two, but I haven't heard much on that front.

I've been seeing rumors lately about other schools being interested in Joe Rossi. You hearing anything about that? Losing him would be a massive blow.

I've only seen Okie State mentioned as a possibility. They've got big booster money still laying around, but that's not like that's a huge step up from the Gophers and the Big 12 is rapidly sliding down hill. He's a Pittsburgh guy, before getting hired here, he coached pretty much exclusively out east. I'd be concerned if Penn State or Ohio State wanted him. Can't see Stillwater, Oklahoma being a draw for him.

Well, that sucks. Why go to a running school? You'd think they would be smart enough to use him better, but still, you'd think there would be better opportunities for him out there.

These are the type of moves Fleck should be trying to make. Getting a player of that caliber could finally get Minnesota over the hump.
