Here's BR's list from Dec 2023 of the top 20 players in the league. Ant is oddly at 17 (behind KAT at 16) - but you have to take into account he was out a few games right around then with his hip injury - so there was a little uncertainty about how he'd do coming back. Anyway, what's your take on how Refs treat these 20 - and conversely how much continual carping these guys do to the refs? i guess my point is - does Ant observe top players in the league chirping constantly at the refs and he sees that as a viable path to gaining an advantage with the refs?

oh for sure he did, looks like 21 did lightly hip check him but not enough to make him flail like an embiid 3 foot floater. my comment was also more in general that if you have stopped your dribble and want to do a backboard bounce, it should be more fair game to attack on D.

I am not have a great Wolves mind, but when they came into existence and Harlan was the voice I was at an age when I and many friends that were very hockey centric paid quite a bit of attention.

Harlan was such a gem to have calling games and I hated seeing him leave even though it always felt like it was inevitable. imho easily one of the best of his era for all sports. And still going strong.

Tracy McGrady did it in an all-star game like 20 years ago. That was the first time I saw it in competition. It’s been a staple show off dunk for decades.

I saw a 6-0 guy do it in on a breakaway in an Army intramural game I was playing in back in the early 80s in Germany. Reverse jam as well. He was an athletically gifted young soldier. It's been a street ball move for a long time - just interesting to see someone pull it out in an NBA game.
