We know there’s no LeBron. You’ll have to make a pick. That’s the whole point here! We want to laugh at you and endlessly mock you!!!
I pick LeBron.

Not married to any of them. Seems like a toss up, and honestly have not scouted any of these guys that hard at all. If they select at #1 I will roll with any of them. I'd lean Wiseman because Edwards seems risky and both him and Ball seem to have rather low BB IQ in large parts of the game.

Wiseman doesn't seem risky after only playing 69 minutes of college ball?

All I know is that whoever the Wolves take #1, he's gong to be the wrong guy, and the national media will rip us for the next 20 years..

While I'm not confident in anyone at the top, I'll go with Lamelo Ball. His passing and vision is elite and will translate to the NBA. He has never been taught defensive fundamentals and I think he has some untapped potential there. He'll take a few years, but I think he can be really good if properly coached up.

The guy I've wanted the most and consistently is Okongwu, so I'm sticking to that.

He's the one I lean towards if I have to make a decision at #1. I would prefer to trade down or out completely personally. I think that's a better move for the team currently. I'm not sure three pretty high risk prospects and identifying the right one, if there is a right one, is the way to go in this one.

Highest upside: Edwards, Avdija & Wiseman (tie), Ball
Highest floor: Wiseman, Avdija, Edwards, Ball

Fit with Wolves: Avdija, Edwards, Ball, Wiseman

My pick: Edwards because I'm drafting for upside. I don't see the upside others have for Wiseman (I see a better shooting DeAndre Jordan) or Ball (Rubio 2.0 without the defense).

Prediction: Pick is traded.

well, i've said it before - but i'll make it official.

best case scenario: atlanta wants to trade up and offers reddish - we take okongwu with the later lotto pick.

middling but okay scenario: someone wants to trade up and we get "a player or 2021 pick" and their 2020 pick - we take okongwu with that later lotto pick.

worst case but doable scenario: absolutely no one wants to trade up - we take okongwu at #1.

i like okongwu and want him. in a draft like this with no one blasting off the page, just take the lottery guy who is projected to fill the biggest gaping hole on our team.

This draft sucks. The player with the best chance at becoming an all star is Lamelo Ball. That’s who I’d take if I stayed at 1. Reluctantly.

I don't see a true #1, and if we keep the pick, judging by the sample size combine i've seen, looks like Edwards has the heart to play our 2 spot considering I am pretty sure we will have an opening as I think Beas is out.

No kidding that's the best case scenario.

Unfortunately, #1 straight up for Reddish would most probably be turned down by Atlanta. And from the Wolves perspective, I'd do that trade.

Best case is Simmons or trading for an allstar. I'd take Reddish +6th as 2nd best case scenario for trading down.

If Wolves end up drafting in the top 3 and keep the player - it will be Edwards.

This is the thread of what you would do at #1. It can be different from what you think the Wolves will do.

not necessarily. if the player we get back from charlotte or in a multi-team deal is a decent wing (reddish, bridges), then we'd probably go PF and either OO or toppin at 3.

I'm glad this pick is left to the professionals because it's a tough choice. I'm going to go with the guy who has the best blend of offensive skills, defensive grit, and will to win: Killian Hayes

Edwards

Give me the boom or bust prospect. I'm torn between Edwards and Wiseman. Whoever the wolves don't take will be a lot better.

First option is to trade it, player wise it would be Wiseman.

I think MN will take Ball if they stay at #1.

Who would I take? I'm pretty damn high on Avdija... his skillset/size intrigue me a ton... and Givony/Schmitz recently on the Lowe Post sang his praises too. So I'd go him....

If Rosas pulls that off...I am all for it.

Edwards just seems to fit a need (especially now because of shitbrain Beasley). He has big upside and could be explosive with DLO and KAT.

GO WOLVES!!

Sorry, getting my NBA podcasts mixed up. GIvony and Schmitz were on with Windhorst.

If we keep the pick its Edwards.

I think we trade the pick for #3, Charlotte selects Wiseman, Warriors trade back to whoever and that team selects Ball, and we still pick Edwards at #3.

I think Rosas is looking for gold in Edwards and he's their guy even after a bad workout

My guy if I was picking is Edwards
