Go on record 2020 #1

Sometime between now and the draft, go on record with "your guy" at #1. No need for some long explanation or back and forth debates. Plenty of other threads for that. Simply type the player's name you'd take at #1. This is for future accountability!

No need to do it immediately, and you can always edit up until the draft. But once the draft starts, you are locked in with "your guy" for better or for worse. History will tell us who was right!

No "I'd trade out" either. We don't know the offers. Assume we're staying at #1. This also isn't a guess of who you think will be taken.

I'll go with Haliburton. I like that high release, he's smart, pretty athletic.

I don't see Wiseman, Ball, or Edwards being the best player from this draft.

Toppin has a shot. He's just so tremendous on offense.

Maxey has a real shot in a LouWill 6th man type role. (Tyrell Terry too.)

Saddiq Bey is well-rounded and has a shot.

Avdija has a shot. I like Bey more than him tho.

I think Wiseman is the best of the top 3. I want us to take Edwards because good or bad, he will be fun.

I think Hayes becomes the best player overall. So I'd take him #1. I think he's a CJ McCollum-ish level player.
