Is Famous Dave's considered good BBQ?

Years ago they had all you could eat st. louis ribs one night a week.
Other than that they are average. I am not paying for the side dishes.
Make your own ribs at home anyway you can and get your money's worth.

He said, Famous Daves.

Back before I lived in Texas, I thought Dave's was pretty good.

After 3 years of real BBQ, Dave's is nothing more than mass produced half-assed BBQ.

Cheap? I thought Famous Dave’s was ok but overpriced…. I thought it was comparable in flavor to Dickey’s bbq, which is cheaper.

Never liked Dickey's. We also had one of them here for about a year, then they went tits up and about 8 fail restaurants later it because another Starbucks... Because we need 13 Starbucks on the same fuck'n road.
