Yeah, I 100% disagree with claiming a share of the Big Ten West Division title. That's why they have tiebreakers. That said, the conference has done it this way since they broke into divisions, so I guess I don't blame the program for claiming it.

if the conference awarded them a trophy they are not 'claiming' anything - it was given.
