Instead the Pohlads basically told the team, "We don't believe in you" by doing nothing.
It's hard being a player when your owner proves to you he doesn't believe in you.

Pressly's knee has to be bothering him. Guy normally throws upper 90's and now is around 93, 94.

I think it could have either way, and either way one team probably had a legitimate gripe. Probably best to leave it as called on the field, and it ended up not mattering anyways.

The interference call at first base seems ridiculous to me. It was a judgement call which is not reviewable.
How does the runner know when (or if) a glove with a ball is going to be stuck in front of him when he isn't looking. All he is doing is running full blast to first. A bad call.
I was so happy when the Nationals soon hit that big homerun.

the call was BRUTAL. glad Rendon made it irrelevant.

Twns need to magically get Juan Soto on the team, I mean it's too perfect...MINNESOTO.

The runner is only protected if he's in the running lane, which is the three foot box to the right of the foul line. If he has a foot outside that box and he interferes with a throw, it's interference, the ball is dead, he's out, and all the runners have to go back where they started. I'm not sure why this is such a controversial call. He can't run where he was running and not be called out if he affects the throw or the catch. If the throw was more towards 2nd base and Turner's position didn't affect the ability to catch the ball, it's a no-call. Since he was out of the box and his position DID make a difference, he's out. If he had been in the running lane and his positioning would have affected the throw, it's a no-call. He's protected there.

Unpopular call, but the right one.

They did review it though, and upheld it.

Jim Pohlad and Co. don't give a shit about MN Twins fans. 2019 proves that.
It's been 32 years since one of MN's four major sports teams has been to the Championship/Superbowl.
Every single year is failure until we win one. 4 teams, 32 years. That's roughly 128 consecutive failed seasons.

with the Stros not having even one left handed pitcher, he pretty much had no chance to get much action as a PH

MLB needs to market their talent better.

Most people couldn't tell you a player on either team.

That goes for most baseball teams anymore.

The average person doesn't even know the top players on the Yankees even.

Agree with the premise of your statement. They definitely need to market their top players more.

But to say most people couldn't tell you a player from either team is a huge stretch...anyone who pays attention to baseball knows who Verlander, Greinke, Altuve, Correa, Strasburg, Scherzer...etc...etc... are. And for the Yankees, people definitely know who Aaron Judge is.
