He actually pitched fairly well.
Twins offense limp dicked him yet again though.

rocco needed to be satisfied with six good innings and then go to the pen.

I don’t think I’ve seen Polanco look so bad. 92/3 mph and he wasn’t even close and swung out of his gear.
And these pitches to Cruz should have been hit 420ft but bat is stuck to his shoulder until the last pitch that was 3 feet above the zone. Wtf.

Ump rings up Kepler on a pitch that wasn’t a strike to help snuff out a Twins rally.
Fuck this guy.

even if there isn't a come back, at least we didn't have to blow through the pen, and berrios will stop the "bleeding" (1 game) tomorrow night!

Just chalk this one up to a weird night in MLB. Miami is up 15-0 on Brew Crew in Milwaukee. ChiSox put up 5 runs on Strasburg right out of the gate and now trail 9-5. Boston is getting shut out by Glenn Sparkman and the Rays started Snell in Detroit and are losing 9-2.
On to tomorrow.
On to tomorrow.

Win some lose some and fortunately for the Twins they win twice as many as they lose

"First Drink is on us"
$15 for a SRO (I think..it's called ballpark access, assuming that just means SRO) and a prefilled card with $10 to use at concession stand.
neat, but since its sponsored by bud it's kind of a lie since good beers are $10.50...

In a 162 game marathon, you're going to have a few nights like this., no matter how good you are.

Not expecting the guy to be anything more than a Brian Duensing or Tommy Milone, but yeah, teh Biebs got the best of 7 out of the 9 hitters.A Kickass Offense wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 8:04 pmHe actually pitched fairly well.

This is not even a bad loss, it's our #5 rookie starter against a guy that is now their #2 starter on the road. Kid didn't get his brains beat in, he just got victimized by the long ball and he still got into the 7th.

Correct...You'll win 60 and lose 60. It's what you do with the other 42 games that will define you as a team.
I think Tom Kelly said something like that.

Those two had ok careers. Hell, Milone is still pitching in the big leagues. He just pitched on Saturday for Seattle.Miley Cyrus wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 9:42 pmNot expecting the guy to be anything more than a Brian Duensing or Tommy Milone, but yeah, teh Biebs got the best of 7 out of the 9 hitters.A Kickass Offense wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 8:04 pmHe actually pitched fairly well.

Almost forgot about Milone til I saw he was going up against Lynn last week. Maybe Andrew Albers is a closer comparison.Sidewinder2k2 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 10:24 pmThose two had ok careers. It's been 32 years since one of MN's four major sports teams has been to the Championship/Superbowl.
Every single year is failure until we win one. 4 teams, 32 years. That's roughly 128 consecutive failed seasons.

Yikes. Carrasco scratched tonight and placed on the IL with some sort of "blood condition."
