at Corcoran Country Daze Aug. 16 & 17..

certainly a downgrade from Dennis DeYoung and Night Ranger last year but if you want to be able to get right up to the stage this is a great venue to watch music.

Warrant might be OK for a Corcoran show, but Firehouse?

Both bands made disposable 80s hair music.

That first Warrant album is solid. Jani Lane is dead, Warrant is dead. Met him at his bar in Orlando, he was playing foosball.

Jani Lane hated himself for writing Cherry Pie. That song and the fame it gave him probably helped lead him into the mess he became later in life.

He did an interview post Warrant where he looked and sounded like shit and said he could shoot himself in the head for writing that song. He wasn't smiling when he said it either.

Maybe I'm remembering the wrong story but I think Jani died like 3 blocks from his house in some seedy motel or something.

Yep, record company made them write Cherry Pie and he said it basically ruined any cred the band may have had.
