I was just looking up some new info on him, and I really can’t find anything different from what I saw a week or two ago that said he MAY enter the portal. The only piece of new info was pure speculation, and that was based on seeing what Caleb Love does. But, I’m not sure what kind of inside info they have to that. I would say that I think in today’s game with the transfer rules, he would be a candidate to leave given his cut in time last year. But again, I don’t find anything that really says one way or another.

Maybe a little bit because word out of UNC was that his defense regressed in his sophmore season. UNC is loaded at guard though. Walton still has upside. He's a really good shooter and had a really solid freshman season at UNC.

I guess this is good. He wasn't able to earn much PT last season. I guess he was only technically a freshman, but he had already played a year of junior college, so we were expecting him to be a bit better. Hopefully, he is leaving on his own accord rather than us telling him he needed to leave.

Probably not in title contention, but too many unknowns to tell for sure. Add to your list that Fox and Ihnen were both out with injuries last year, and you have 9 of our top 11 guys did not play a game for the Gophers last season (Battle and Thompson). Likely can't count on any of Payne Carrington, Henley or Ola-Joseph to step in right away and be good Big 10 players.

That's my prediction for a lineup right now. I don't think they're finishing in the top 4 of the big ten but they should make a jump into the 7-8-9 range I hope. If healthy hopefully they're at least a bubble team next year. Only Samuels is done with eligibility after next season. Everyone could come back for another year... that's crazy.
