I grew up in Los Angeles. I've seen X at least 20 times live. Eric Burdon & The Animals– House of teh Rising Sun aside, they have a handful of songs that riiiiiip. Eric Burdon is a fucking stud. The catalog matches the times they were featured. A band thats no talked about enough, but is a cornerstone in the trajectory of Rock and Roll.
This thread is certified O.G so I'm not sure if today's nomination is already mentioned. However, time has passed, "culture" has shifted so perhaps there is new space for new contributions.
