They have 8 signed players for next year right now and Fox is out with a torn ACL. They are going to be awful for sure unless some ruling prevents Gach and Robbins from playing next year elsewhere or Dawson Garcia comes home after flirting with the NBA draft.

Lets be honest....the Rodents were unwatchable much of this last season so can it really get any worse? At least there is a new coach who we can attempt to rally around and who knows.....maybe Ben will surprise!?

I dunno RT....in this day and age of transfer portals, one and dones, etc., there will be quicker turnarounds available for all schools. Ben may have nothing but poop to work with this season, then all of a sudden he lands 3-4 top playas the next year and BOOM, the Rodents are competitive!

One year depth guy for sure. I do think they'll eventually land Stef Mitchell and then he's your starting 4, grab your starting five. The roster looks like a bottom of the league finisher.... I still hope Gach is back just from an experience/scoring standpoint. But for Ben and his new staff, this is all about 2022. They will have a crap ton of spots available and they need to hit that new class hard. Plenty of opportunity for those kids to step in immediately.

Averaged 9/5 in 19-20. Didn't play much last year... you could do worse at this point.

You're more confident about Steffon Mitchell than I am. Wouldn't San Diego State be an easy choice if he wants to be on a tournament team?
