Averaged 9/5 in 19-20. Didn't play much last year... you could do worse at this point.
How much worse?
Over/under 3 Big Ten wins next year? I'm not worried about next year, but this team could barely compete when we were all excited about Robbins, Gach and Johnson coming in. Now, we'd be excited by Omersa coming back.

They must have really liked Thiam considering he has four years of eligibility remaining.
Looks like they are currently in season for games and he is not even starting for his team. Putting up decent numbers, but hopefully not a wasted scholarship.
Seems like he is a very good shooter though which has been a glaring need...

This transfer portal is definitely a game changer, no pun intended.
So we'll be seeing the 4 and 5 star kids go directly to the Blue Chip programs, the 2 and 3 star kids go to the small schools and mid-majors, and everyone else trying to pick off the semi-proven 2 or 3 star kids between their Freshman and Sophomore years (or Sophomore and Junior years)? I'm guessing to some extent this will be true, but likely leaves less competition for the 3 star H.S. kids.

This is getting crazy!
Give every player one time to transfer without any waiver... after that, make it nearly impossible for immediate eligibility.

Given how shitty they were only returning 7% might not be a bad thing.
According to plenty here and other forms of social media, the roster was trash last year. So only one way to go.......

I mean they did compete last year when everyone was healthy... did they not? They were just a .500 big ten team at best that fell off the rails badly at the end.
Next year... I would guess Vegas would put them at 4.5 big ten wins right now.

"They have great program and the coaching staff is pretty cool," Sy told the Star Tribune last week about the Gophers. "We've been talking for a little while and I had some zoom meetings [with them], as well as with others schools."

Khadim Sy has red-flags all over. . . I think this would be his 3rd team. Ouch.
Liam Robbins is onto his third team!
