It's because the trade involves a player, not just picks. The new league fiscal year does not begin until July 1st. Can't officially trade Dario until then. Or something like that.
Strange. I don't remember that affecting announcements in the past.
Yeah it's a silly gimmick that I think the NBA could benefit from cleaning up.

1. Nbadraft.net is straight trash
2. I HOPE he goes top 3. That kid is going to bust so hard. He's an absolute joke.
Not sure why I'm reading this thread, but this made me laugh.

I, like most, have had my share of bad takes, but I thought I recalled my love affair with Naz started based on a obscure LSU/Florida pretournament game. I loved what I saw and thought he was a first round talent. undrafted and signed....on the short list of best moves our beloved Wolves have ever made.

It's been 32 years since one of MN's four major sports teams has been to the Championship/Superbowl.
Every single year is failure until we win one. 4 teams, 32 years. That's roughly 128 consecutive failed seasons.

We did a mock draft on here that year and I drafted Naz in the late, late first round

I remember maybe two years ago someone mentioning that Naz would be better suited to just taking hook shots.
