that couldn't have worked out much better tonight for rocco and the twins. a W and only having to use pineda and smeltzer.

Ok Rocco time to hit Arraez leadoff. Jesus Christ it’s painfully obvious.

Just felt like a closer game than what the score says. Maybe because of that inning where the Rangers ran themselves out of that half inning. That was bizarre

The kid is our best player right now. It's been a long time since I've seen a Twins rookie with this good of an approach.

Wow. I didn't know that. He look like he was 69 30 years ago.
I could be mistaken on this but I believe he was younger than Jack Morris in the 91 world series
You are mistaken as usual. Kelly is 5 years older
Well, yeah, today he is, but what about in 1991? That's what he was talking about, smart guy!

Probably LBJ.

He's been really fun to watch so far. It's an extremely small sample size, but it's encouraging for sure. He's kept the Twins in games lately.

As for batting him lead off. I'm not so sure about that. There is a lot more pressure when hitting lead off. I'm fine keeping him down in the order this year. Keep him under the radar for a while.

he's a good little slap hitter he's far from our best player he's probably sixth or 7th.

No doubt. Plus just look at our history of moving guys around the order because they are ready. More often than not it has resulted in a trip to AAA. Fact is place in the order is pretty small in overall AB's. Comfort is more important. Anyone have a problem with how comfortable both he and Kepler look?

If Arraez keeps it up he's a shoe-in for the team's The Psycho Cordova Rookie of the Year plaque.

The game where platoon catchers, guys who missed half the season, and cast off 1st basemen already have 20+ homers?

That game?

Who got Arreaz into our organization?

I kind of feel like the current administration is benifitting from some seriously great decisions from the last administration.

(Obviously this is a question because I don't know so save your disrespectful nonsensical replies)
It's been 32 years since one of MN's four major sports teams has been to the Championship/Superbowl.
Every single year is failure until we win one. 4 teams, 32 years. That's roughly 128 consecutive failed seasons.

It's a little early in the day after a big win to come in hot, dontcha think? It's nothing more than a classic rube/froob chat line.
Well that, and Arraez should be hitting leadoff.

1-2-3. Still more pitches than necessary so doubt he’ll reach the 7th since he never does (only twice this seasons zero since early May which sucks). 5 pitches per batter doesn’t set up a deep game.

92 down the middle backwards K for Cron, come on man.

That WAS mind boggling. If Marwin had been running hard as he rounded first then MAYBE he has a chance. Nope, he didn't run hard and wasn't even close. Tom Kelly would not approve....

0-2 then some balls nowhere near the zone then a lazer double down the line. Figure it out jake.
It’s either down the middle or wayyy outside/inside

And then 3-0 immediately with each pitch at least a foot away from the zone. To a guy that never walks and strikes out a ton. He’ll be lucky to reach the 5th inning pitching like this.
Edit: gdp, Well that helps!
