Cron with already 15 home runs and 46 RBIs last your little Joey had eight home runs and 48 RBIs
I'd 100% rather have Mauer than Sano right now.
In. A. Heartbeat.
Na not at 23 million. If Mauer hadn't retired we would not have Nelson Cruz, Cron, or Gonzalez. The best thing for this organization is he took his Punch & Judy show home. They need to bring up Willy again.. at least he made contact.

We could have still had Mauer as his contract expired...could have been a much more realistic price

The Twins kindly told him behind closed doors they didn't want him back.
Get on base Jake.
Polanco will drive you in.
Or swing at balls 3 feet out of the zone again and again.
Because they’ll hit you!
Schoop HAS to be productive here. Stop swinging at this shit!! And then he finally takes a close one but it’s been called for price all night. Why did we not bunt schoop if he’s not going to have a real at bat.

What is up with the Twins bobo's on Twitter? The Lavelle's the Seth Stohs, etc?
They're like the biggest pussies ever.
Seth tweeted some pussy shit like "We should be encouraged that the Twins kept these games close against a top team like Boston!"
Fucking seriously?
I dont want "they kept it close" against the Sox, Yanks, etc. I want W's. "Close" doesn't count in Oct/Nov when you'll be facing these teams. Minus the poor ABs w/ RISP, errors, bullpen, & bad base running, we should be well on our way to at least 2/3 vs BOS rather than "close"
Can we not have higher expectations rather than "they kept it close?" We've been flirting with the best record in baseball all-season.....time to start acting accordingly and wanting W's rather than close.

Such a Minnesota attitude.
Cripes that's lame. They have a better record, playing at home etc.
Loser mentality.

Between the ump calling balls 4 inches outside or up strikes and the Twins swinging at shit nowhere near the zone, this is a damn struggle to watch.
Eddie most likely an infield pop up reaching.

Exactly.
Do you think Boston & Yankee fans are sitting back watching their team and thinking "Hey! We didn't win but we kept it close! Yayyyy!"
Best (or whatever it is now) record in baseball and we're fine with "close?"
Nice to see Pineda come around.
He'll be a nice pitcher come playoff time.
It's been 32 years since one of MN's four major sports teams has been to the Championship/Superbowl.
Every single year is failure until we win one. 4 teams, 32 years. That's roughly 128 consecutive failed seasons.
