And Lowry and Leonard.... please.
Every big name but 1? Read again? You think Lowrey is some kind of young star? His entire rep is el playoff foldo. Lowrey was not as good as his UDFA backup.
He is a star. Plus, they developed these guys. Something the Wolves fail at because they stick to guys like Jeff Teague who will not impact the future of the team. They will give him minutes but not develop future players. We have been doing this since 2009.
Lowrey and Jeff Teague were pretty much equal until Teague's injury plagued year.

And again who is this PG that we need to develop?

Agreed. Looks like he is finally going to fix our PG position. The most important position in basketball. No wonder this organization has a rotten history. We never have a good one.

I will be happy will either of the 3. Paul the least but I would still take him if they take Wiggins.
What do you think it would cost to move up from #11 and get one of the PGs?
Not sure but I think a good amount.

I'm not interested in trading up for White unless it doesn't take much.

Garland I would make a move for but at the spot he's going and other teams involved, it's almost impossible.

After Kat, RoCo and Okogie, we have nothing nobody wants to move up.

Anybody, anybody but Jeff Teague. Find some young guy with potential upside. Let him develop. Cheap contract with easy dump.

It is certain that in 2019-20, whoever that player is, they will not be as good as Jeff Teague. But who cares. If they develop, they contribute in 2020-21. Jeff Teague will not.

If we were in the offseason of 2018-19, with a happy Jimmy Butler and having made the playoffs the previous year, it is a different story. And while I do not advocate tanking, this team should be in development mode and trying to work out pieces that will be important in the future. Band aids and quick fixes to win a couple more meaningless games when we will almost certainly miss the playoffs costs the team moving forward.

Definitely feeling a multi team trade is in the works, and we will be parting with Wiggins. What we gain is probably DeAngelo Russell. Question is whether Teague is used as well.

I would love to get Russell, but I doubt a trade can be in the works with him. He is a restricted free agent and such a trade would have to be a sign and trade.

Sign and trades can be added to multi team deals though, no? I guess that would be the key, the space freeing up. Kyrie to Nets, as part of it, Boston would get? I am seriously going off tangent.

Then Wiggins would go to Boston... Maybe Boston just does a S&T Irving for Russell. Or just signs Russell outright. They have cap room with Horford declining his $30 million player option and Irving leaving.

Cp3
Wigs
Roco
Pick 11
Towns
Wiggins.

Teavue, Wiggins and Saric for Paul. Get it done!

We need to keep Wigs. He
and KAT are the future

I don't know why it's so hard to understand that NO star wants to be here.

Even IF they do get traded here, they're going to piss & moan their way to a trade just like Butler.

They're all spoiled d-bags who want to be on a coast, not in a place that gets to -20 in the winter.

Probably not. But the rumor is he isn't untouchable too. A package centered on Jason Tatum, at least one of the 2019 firsts, Memphis 2020 first pick unprotected in 2021 (probably the double draft people are talking about, Boston's 2021 first and second that can be deferred to 2022 (in case that is the double pick year) with Rozier in S&T.

Probably would not do it, but it would be an intriguing option.

Because it's fun watching you little twits getting excited and fantasizing about stupid ideas like getting CP3 or Harden then arguing over what to give up for them like it's actually going to happen.

Start up NBA 2k19 and jerk off to the trades you make in GM mode, losers.

Don't you have trades to analyze and discuss that would off-load Wiggins & Teague for the rights to picking Zion?

I agree, but I can see the Rockets mulling that one over. They are on the hook for him the next four years with a DPVE totalling over $169 million.

I can't see them spending even 2 seconds considering it. To the point that I don't think any team would bother even offering anything for Harden. It makes less sense than someone offering up a trade for LeBron or Curry. Waste of energy.

I am not a Laker fan, so I am not sure why you dwell on this. The Lakers ALWAYS have the ability to rebuild fast. They have been hindered by the ownership transition and bad management. I think if Jerry Buss dies in 2015, James goes to LA instead of Cleveland. But with his death the entire ownership situation became a shambles.

The Lakers are the premiere franchise in the league. They have by far the most revenue, enhanced by a local media contract that brings in more than $150 million per year. They can spend on guys and not give a shit about the luxury taxes. Players WANT to be in LA and being a Laker has significant additional financial and other benefits. Competent ownership and front office would have changed things faster with teh post-Kobe Lakers.
