Pelicans would be wise to wait for draft day to trade that pick. If Barrett falls to 4, he'd be a great pick for them.

I can't think of any package that we could put together that would be attractive enough for NO to warrant this.

If Boston ends up with Garland, that means Rozier isn't brought back. Lots of movement hinging on Boston's ability to do anything they set out to do.

I think the other teams mentioned (Boston and Chicago) have much more ammo to offer. I'm guessing we'd have to offer up future draft picks. Rosas has been consistently saying the Wolves need to get creative, so I guess we'll see if he can pull something off.

Right, but even with future picks, that still wouldn't be that attractive to me if I'm NO. Just continue adding top talent incrementally would be my goal, and the drop from 4 to 11 is pretty huge in this draft. Doesn't seem worth it.

I wonder who they're targeting at pick number 4? Culver? Garland could fall to pick 5 or 6 in this scenario.

Pelicans are probably leaking everything. "Garland might go to NY at 3 so Barrett might drop to 4..." oh yeah, I'm sure New Orleans would let that happen. New Orleans is getting offers for 4 so they throw out Atlanta is giving up 8 and 10 so anyone below 10 needs to offer up their pick and 1/2 future firsts and maybe pick swaps.

The Knicks are "seriously considering" Darius Garland with the No. 3 overall pick, according to Jonathan Givony of ESPN.
It had long been assumed that the Knicks would draft either R.J. Barrett or Ja Morant, whichever player slid past the Grizzlies at No. 2. However, it now seems that Garland is in the mix. Per Givony, Garland will conduct a last-minute workout in Tarrytown with the Knicks tomorrow. As a result, he may miss the NBA Draft media session, which starts at 11 am tomorrow. It's odd that New York would wait until the last minute to schedule a workout, considering the lottery was conducted over a month ago.

Knicks making smoke to get everyone looking higher to #3 if they want Garland.

White aint worth it. Garland hells yeah.

Rather draft NAW at 11 than trade up for White.

Well, I don't think that's possible.

I believe a move up would be #11, Okogie, and a future 1st.

Apparently NO is not really interested in more draft picks, but rather a proven player for the #4.

I think Darius is gonna be the real deal. Granted I've only seen video but that dude is ultra.smooth and poised. He's worth the trade up. If you can get him. Anybody else would rather pick at 11.

Wiggins is definitely a proven player. Unfortunately, he's proven that he sucks.

RoCo.

Sucks to do, but I'd do it. They'd probably still get better offers than Glovington.

Would Saric & a future 1st be enough to move up 7 spots? With Randle opting-out, they need a PF, not to mention the fit w/ Zion...

I have to imagine ATL is targeting Hunter @ #4, CLE has Sexton, so I doubt they’re going PG @ #5...

Absolutely right. They can't pass the chance to put best friends on the team. Beyond how good he is and what a great get it would be at 4 it's just an extra thing that makes Zion want to stay.

And holy crap just like the prior post said. Towns, RoCo, Okogie. Anything else is on the table. EXCITING SHIT! Doubt we can pull it off but Garland has been my dream since he got hurt. But he played just enough to look like a freaky scorer. Dream still alive!

Kyrie is who he seems like to me. But he is a better natural shooter so maybe it is Lillard. Combo of both. Pick and roll/pop with Towns would be unstoppable.

A lot of smoke, but I think Doggie is right, we are after a PG in this draft.

I think its a long shot for Garland to get to Kyrie or Lillards level. Thats #1 overall pick level.
Im thinking Garland will be Jeff Teague good.

Dame was the 6th pick in the Draft...we’re not saying Garland is Lillard, we’re saying they have some like attributes at similar points in their career.
