Would have been happy with any of the previous 4 for AZ, and like Murphy/Newton better individually, but I do think DL is a much deeper position in this draft than CB, so I'm hoping that settling for Kool Aid here but attacking DL later will still result in a better draft as an aggregate.

Or at least that's my rationalization.

Honestly, they’d be wise to start thinking about life after CMC and neither Aiyuk nor Samuel are locked up long-term. Aiyuk is a FA after this year and Samuel is the year after that. Kittle is breaking down and is a FA after ‘25 as well.

And behind those four (who are all great), there isn’t much depth.
