IT IS HERE!!! Hope springs eternal as the 2024 version of the Minnesota Twins is set to start a new season in lovely Kansas City!! This series harkens me back to the great batting title race of 1976 with Brett, McRae, Carew, and Bostock battling it out till the end of the season (won by Brett).

My number one hope for the year is a blessed season of relatively good health. Keep the stars in the lineup and a repeat division championship is within reach.

The start of a new season always excites a quickly aging Gus Munger. I'm old enough to have pretty much seen all of the Twins greats through history....SO many of them!!
